Jeffrey began his career with Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing (CSM) as a Production Control Engineer in 1996. He subsequently joined Pacific Plywood
in 1997, a leading Asia-Pacific timber company listed in Hong Kong. As a
Senior Specialist, he was in charge of regional business development and related
research before joining Spire.

Jeffrey is the Deputy CEO of Spire. He joined Spire in October 2000 as a Research Manager in Spire Singapore, and was promoted to Senior Research Manager in 2002. He subsequently started Spire Indonesia 2003. With seven years of industrial experience in market research, Jeffrey brings his clients valuable primary research and secondary research services; using both primary and internal corporate data, and publicly available data sources to derive relevant and actionable information to support strategic planning and business development.

His valuable technical background in telecommunications, engineering and IT industry, has endeared him to many clients in related fields.

Jeffrey graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

With over 20 years of consumer retail experience in the Asia Pacific region, Hsien Naidu has been integral in the growth of many local SMEs. Her wide experience in handling key executive positions from varying industries allowed her to venture through franchising, marketing, branding and intellectual property protection strategies.
Building on her passion to increase each client organisation’s Net Profit Value, she founded Astreem Consulting, specifically to be agents of growth.

Vice President of Franchising Business for the Revenue Valley Group

Deric Yeo is the Vice President of Franchising Business for the Revenue Valley Group, which houses International F & B brands such as The Manhattan FISH MARKET, Tony Romas, Popeyes, NY Steak Shake and Nice Catch. He has been active in the area of Franchise Business Development for the Group for the past 7 years and he is also the EXCO member of the Malaysia Franchise Association. He has been a frequent contributor to the Malaysia franchise industry for the training and seminars provided by MFA.  

His international experience includes the franchise development and consultancies in Malaysia to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Oman, Medan, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Qatar, UAE, Brunei, China, and Kuwait. His current project is to expand and develop China market for The Manhattan FISH MARKET with an expansion plan of 10 restaurant in the next 2 years. He has also to drive the brand to achieve the position of industry leader; awarded the overall Franchise of the Year 2015, 2016 and 2017 by MFA.

Prior to this, Deric is the key Talent Development Senior Manager for the group, where his main role was to talent scout senior management team for the group and plan out their development path. The role was to establish a strong leadership foundation to ensure the success of the Group’s business development plan.

Adly now heads up Prestige Franchising Limited, specialising in UK and international franchising, he has a particularly strong network within the Middle East.

Adly is a regular speaker at a number of franchise exhibitions across the globe and within the industry, he is recognised for his highly developed negotiation skills and is admired for his enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Previous experience includes property sales and letting within the UK market, specifically specialising in investment properties. Adly has also opened and managed 6 ladies fashion boutiques over 22 years.

Jin Nee is a registered patent agent, registered trade mark agent & registered industrial agent in Malaysia. She is the past President of Licensing Executive Society Malaysia (2000). Past Chair of the Bar Council IP Committee, Former Head of IPR Committee of the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (EU-MCCI) and past Executive Committee member of the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA). Jin Nee is one of the panelist appointed by Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre For Arbitration (KLRCA) and Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ANDRC) and certified mediator on the panel of the Malaysian Mediation Centre. Jin Nee is also one of the IP Valuers trained by MYIPO and certified by World Trade Institute.


CEO of the Green & Smart Group Companies

Mr. Saravanan Rasaratnam is CEO of the Green & Smart Group Companies with over 20 years of management experience in biotechnology, commercialization and business strategy. He hails from Kuala Lumpur and holds a BA in Business Administration from the National University of Malaysia.

Mr. Saravanan served with the Government’s biotechnology development agency, Malaysian Bioeconomy Development Corporation, where he started out with very basic knowledge and understanding of the biotechnology industry as a non-technical person. However, his determination and leadership skills saw him work his way up from a Manager leading the Biotechnology Funding team to becoming a VP of Business Development, where he gained experience in identifying potential biotechnology commercialization initiatives and provide business strategy advisory services to complement and propel the growth of the country’s biotechnology industry.

Mr. Saravanan’s insights into the biotechnology industry and its potential, led him to plunge into the biotechnology business starting out as VP for Strategy & Planning at Lestari Pasifik Berhad, a biofuel production company derived from locally available oil palm biomass. He then co-founded and was Executive Director of Biofusion Sdn Bhd, a company involved in bio-composting activities, prior to taking over Green & Smart Sdn Bhd and expanding it into the Green & Smart Group of Companies.
